Ignacio Lopez ‘Nine Ig Fails’ Preview

After his overdue debut on ‘Live at the Apollo’, Ignacio Lopez is bringing his tour show ‘Nine Ig Fails’

to Leeds.

Telling the tale of his pilgrimage to see the last ever Nine Inch Nails concert in LA, the Welsh

Spaniard uses observational comedy and his unique style of humour to recall the highs and lows of

his journey. His unique perspective of both Welsh and Spanish culture allows him to explore themes

and experiences which are not usually portrayed in the mainstream as we know it.

No stranger to the UK comedy scene, Lopez is a regular headliner at comedy clubs and has

supported for the likes of John Bishop and Jason Manford on their tours. After his debut on ‘Have I

Got News for You’, the tour has become more popular than ever. As well as Leeds’ ‘The Wardrobe’,

Ignacio is performing all across the UK, including extra dates in London and Brighton.

As well as being a guest on the two aforementioned keystone TV shows, Ignacio has also amassed

over 100 million views online. He was also one of Mervyn Stutter’s picks of the Fringe in 2022 along

with being on The Telegraph and The Guardian’s respective ‘Jokes of the Fringe’ lists.

To see more of his work you can listen to his last tour show ‘EspañYOLO’ which was released as a

comedy album and his comedy song ‘Why Spain Hates the UK’. He has also been featured on BBC

Radio 4’s ‘The Now Show’ as well as other work on various BBC Radio channels including 5Live and

BBC Radio Wales.

His portfolio speaks for himself! This is not a tour to miss. The Wardrobe is a brilliant venue which

feels tailor-made for comics such as Lopez.

Ignacio Lopez will be performing at The Wardrobe here in Leeds on Thursday the 16 th of November

2023. You can get tickets from his website comedylopez.com or find him on Instagram at

@comedylopez.
